Autor w artykule podejmuje tematykę kryzysu i zastanawia się m.in., czy ekonomiści, w sytuacji kryzysu, czy choćby poszukiwania jego genezy, mogą postawić przed ekonomią pytanie o to, czy ona na gruncie obecnego jej ukształtowania jest w stanie być podstawą odpowiedzi, co ostatecznie i jak generuje kryzys? A idąc krok dalej, co trzeba w nauce twórczo zmienić, aby to pytanie dało oczekiwany rezultat.

In the article, the author discusses the issue of the crisis and wonders whether the economists, in the crisis environment, or while searching its origins, can pose the question towards the economy if it, on the basis of its current shape, is able to stand as the answer, what the crisis eventually generates and how it creates that. Going further, what must be creatively changed as far as science is concerned so as to receive the expected result.
