This paper discusses 68lexems extracted from all annual volumes of „TrybunaRadziecka” („Soviet Tribune”), a central Polish paper published in the USSR in the interwar period (1927-1938). The lexical items are listed in the form of dictionary with examples and comments. The thematic group „technological progress” is forms i.a. by names of machines (e.g. bormaszyna, borsztanga, bluming, śniegotopka), names of works (e.g.elektrostacja,naprawnia), names of machine parts (e.g. kłapan, koper, pult). 56l exems derived from Russian were represented in „Trybuna Radziecka”. 3itmes belongs to the older vocabulary of general Polish. 31lexems still function in the postwar Northern Borderland Polish (e.g.magistrala, depo, konwejer, metropoliten).20 words were recorded in other parallel resources (e.g. in the Polish language of Kaunas or Vilnius).15etems established themselves in Polish lexical resources in the USSR (in the Polish language of Moscow and Soviet Belarus; e.g. aerosanie, kulomiot, ślizgowiec).
