Abstracts
The material study analyses the processes connected with exploring and creation of the military symbolism of a wider significance, in particular including the honorary and historical titles with their specific meaning and irreplaceable role in the education of the Army members, developing national and military traditions. Furthermore, the author analyses, characterises and describes the military symbolism connected with identification of the military ranks during individual development periods of the Army of the SR (The Armed Forces SR) as well as the military symbols – the badges identifying the types of troops and services. Last but not least, the study also solves the issue of military symbolism or the identification of symbols worn on the hats and the badges identifying the group of military university graduates. The appendix to the study contains picture material which graphically supplements the text of the study.
