The aim of the study was to show the undertaken consultancy actions for the development of non-agricultural entrepreneurship in the country side on the example of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Agricultural Advisory Centre (KPODR). The sources of information were the documents posted on the website of KPODR. KPODR plays an important role in Kujawsko-Pomorskie in promoting small business and non-agricultural education of farmers and their families. It provides advice, organizes workshops and trainings on motivation and entrepreneurship which change participants’ attitude to life and teaches them active job search methods and skills in setting up and managing their own business. It also organizes specialized courses, giving formal permission for a particular profession.
