Elements of Communicative Absurd in Mykola Kulish’s Plays

In the plays of the 20s – 30s of the XXth century by a classic of modern Ukrainian literature, a famous playwright Mykola Kulish one can observe the elements of ontological, behavioral and communicative absurd. The article reviews language-stylistic and functional-pragmatic means of creating communicative absurd in the plays People Malahiy, Myna Mazaylo, Khuliy Khurina, Commune in the Steppe, Pathetic Sonata, 97. The basis of forming fragments of “odyvleniy” text is the method of patterns and stereotypes in the speech of the heroes of these plays.
