The share of the Laconian pottery in Berezan the corpus of which is published here for the first time is modest in comparison with other classes of fine Greek tableware represented in the island, but not insignificant, and the corpus of fragments shows that even this class of Greek fine pottery was available in this Archaic settlement at the margins of the Greek world.
