Sources of pleasure: according to Emmanuel Levinas, they are found in what seduces and fascinates. Appreciating what is external and appreciating the senses, including those that were marginalized in philosophical reflection: taste, smell, touch. The observation that sensory experience has cognitive value (we experience the world through the senses) and is not indifferent to the subject: it is a source of satisfaction, (at least) to the point of delight. The experience of pleasure provides the subject with self-knowledge, which is also a means of "separation", that is, of individualizing the subject. Sources of disgust/revulsion/abjection - according to Kristeva - to what is strange and different. Repulsion toward the external for fear of changing what is internal: revulsion toward touch, taste, smell. Everything that comes from the outside is a threat to the identity of the "I"; it is an attempt to change what does not accept change. Self-disgust - individual and collective (towards one's own community), on the literary examples of Witold Gombrowicz’s, Pornografia and Trans-atlantyk. How can self-deprecation and negation affect the depreciation of what is perceived as external and the lack of acceptance of others. The pattern of "sour grapes" and anticipatory rejection: by denying oneself value, one assumes defeat and rejection in every situation. Therefore, I reject a priori what I cannot achieve, as I am worthless, as well as those who, knowing my wickedness, would have to reject me.
