Abstracts
The article tends to present the preparations and the character of agricultural and industrial exhibition, which took place in summer 1900 in in Lublin. Mentioned above undertaking had an important meaning both for local gentry, industrialists and peasant community as well. It established a real chance to demonstrate and promote perfect achievements on the fields of cultivation, animal husbandry and industry. For the city of Lublin the exposition became the significant element of promotion and also cultural occasion on which the inhabitants had waited for over 40 years.
