This paper aims at presenting the influence of development of e-services on the functioning of the Polish public administration. Author discusses the notion of e-services, their implementation into administration at the European and domestic levels, changes caused by the development of e-services in different areas of administrative law and finally adaptive actions undertaken by administration itself in order to implement e-services as a form of administration as well as difficulties hindering this process.
