THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SUPPORTING DIDACTIC CLASSES WITH E-LEARNING IN ACADEMIC ECONOMIC TEACHING

E-learning constitutes one of the methods of knowledge transfer and is used in increasingly broader range in academic economic teaching in Poland. The innovativeness of the methods based on ICT may cause concerns about the effectiveness of such process of teaching. The article presents the results of a study concerning the question if the replacement of the total amount of or only a part of traditional classes by e-learning will lower the effectiveness of teaching measured by the final tests results and by the level of students' satisfaction from participation in the course.
