Celem opracowania jest analiza tendencji rozwojowych bankowości inwestycyjnej po bankructwie Lehman Brothers. Zmiany, jakie dokonały się w otoczeniu i w warunkach funkcjonowania bankowości inwestycyjnej, wymusiły poszukiwanie nowego, optymalnego modelu biznesowego, adekwatnego do zmian, jakie zaszły w technologii, strukturze zarządzania i warunkach konkurencji tego obszaru sektora bankowego. Szczegółowa analiza tego zagadnienia została ukierunkowana na bankowość inwestycyjną Grupy Deutsche Bank.

The aim of the study is to analyze trends in the development of investment banking after the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers. The changes that have taken place in the environment and operating conditions have forced investment bankers to search for a new, optimal business model, which is adequate to the changes that have taken place in technology, management structure and the conditions of competition in this banking sector. A detailed analysis of this issue has been focused on investment banking in Deutsche Bank Group.
