The membership in the World Trade Organisation (WTO) will be crucial for China's economy as an incentive to pursue market reforms oriented to deepening links of the Chinese economy with the world economy and getting benefits from the international labour division. The accession of China to WTO will also bring substancial global benefits. A full integration of China’s economy with the world trade system will make it more multifactoral and act as an incentive towards the development of a new global economic order.
