Poznan – a City of Congress and Business Tourism

Poznan, as one of the most important cities in Poland, is also one of the main congress centers in the country and an important center of congress tourism in Europe and World. It is worth noting its participation in national and global markets, as well as, its leading position as a center of business and congress. This article illustrates both the tourist and business attractions of this wonderful city. The aim is to highlight the well-equipped, sophisticated, and appropriate infrastructure of the city and its gained experiences that allow to for the name of Poznan to be associated with being an important city of business and congress. An important role is played by the following: the location of the city, its tourist attractions, science centers, urban and surrounding convention and training centers, and its accommodation for business guests. Poznan is an important scientific center with significant organizational tradition since PeWuKa and is predisposed for events of this type. It also includes the Poznan International Fair as the most important center of fairs and congress in Poland, their history, conference facilities, and area of operation. The scope of work is based on the demonstration that Poznan is a friendly place for professionally organized meetings of different groups of people: scientists, entrepreneurs, politicians, sportsmen, environmentalists, artists, and professionals of different industries etc.
