The article presents the philosophical and anthropological observations of the body, mind, and the phenomena of kinnar in Hindu philosophy. The topic of human subjectivity is described on the example of the Indian third gender. The discussed issues urge for revision of the knowledge of the human body and mind, sexuality and gender knowledge which exceed cultural boundaries. The subject of the article was realized thanks to available specialist literature and my own research conducted in India in 2009.
