The aim of this paper was to present the concentration, aims and intensity of migration undertaken during the medieval period by Dominican friars form the monasteries belonging to the Wielkopolska branch of the Polish Province of the Order of the Preachers. Historically Dominican friars are regarded as being a community leading a very active lifestyle. This belief proves correct in the case of the friars in the Wielkopolska region. In The medieval period Dominican friars undertook a great deal of journeys, especially with the aims of the teaching and preaching.
