Author deals in this article with the issue of hydraulic rescue equipments used during rescuing persons during technical interventions and systematic procedure in case of traffic accidents in the Slovak Republic. Furthermore, he characterizes material and technical equipments of involved corps, pointing at systematic approach to each state of emergency in case of rescue of trapped persons using hydraulic extrication equipment.
