Finnish early childhood education in a systematic and goal-oriented educational interaction taking place in the young children’s different living environments, aimed at promoting their balanced growth, development and learning. It is built upon a holistic view of the child. In Finland there are two national curriculums for early childhood education, they have a link to each other and together they form a whole in the child’s learning and development.
