The paper is devoted to axiological semantics of Ukrainian adjectives. In the axiological system the adjective plays central role. Forming of the axiological semantics of the adjectives is infl uenced by a series of factors. But in full range the axiological meaning of these words is formed only in the context. Simultaneously the adjective has its infl uence on the meaning of sentences. Components of the axiological structure of adjectives are also studied in the paper.
