The topic of this article is free time of children and young people from rural areas. The article presents the problem of understanding the concept of free time, its aspects and features. It also presents the results of research conducted by the author, which shows among other things, how much free time young people who live in rural areas have and how they spend it. These results were also compared with the previous results of other authors, which allowed to show some of the similarities and differences that have been shaped over the years.
