The beginning of insurance, and especially the property insurance dates back to antiquity. The new forms of insurance were developing upon the trade and transport development. These days every travel organizers are legally obliged to insure tourists. The Generali company is one of the biggest insurance groups on the world. It offers a rich range of insurance instruments. This company offers for tourists two kinds of insurance products which are: “Lew Podróżnik” and “Nowe Ubezpieczenia Podróży Zagranicznych” in various variants.
