We are handing over to you the 58th issue of our periodical which documents over two hundred years of the history of Polish museums. Invariably, it analyses and comments on the processes that occur in Polish and world museums which undeniably prove that this area of global culture is constantly changing and developing. It reminds and shares lasting values inscribed in collections and preserved for the future generations. Also, it shares cultural heritage and its knowledge with the contemporary.

Dokumentujący ponad dwa stulecia historii polskich muzeów nasz periodyk, którego kolejny, już 58. tom oddajemy obecnie do rąk Czytelników, niezmiennie analizuje i komentuje procesy zachodzące w muzealnictwie polskim i światowym, niewątpliwie świadczące o permanentnym rozwoju oraz zmianach w tej dziedzinie globalnej kultury. Przypomina jednocześnie i popularyzuje nieprzemijające wartości wpisane w gromadzenie, trwałe zachowanie dla potomnych oraz udostępnianie współczesnym dziedzictwa kulturowego, a także wiedzy o nim.
