'Heilsame Lehre' is a newly discovered monthly periodical published in German language in Poland. It supplements and broadens our knowledge on the press intended for the German Protestant minority. Published in the years 1927-1938 (initially in Switzerland), the periodical attracted readers from all over the world. As well as providing interpretations of the Holy Scripture and guidance on daily life, it addressed social and economic issues. In addition to its role in shaping the life philosophy of its readers, the periodical helped nurture the national consciousness of Germans living all over the world.
