INTRINSIC MOTIVATION TO LEARN: ACCURACY OF TEACHERS' PERCEPTION (Motywacja samoistna w uczeniu sie - trafnosc opinii nauczycieli)

The aim of the study was to investigate the high school teachers' perception of the learning motivation of their students. Students completed the questionnaire concerning their internal and external motivation in learning, aims of learning and self-efficacy. Their answers were compared with teachers' opinions. The results showed that the teachers overestimated the level of internal motivation of their students.
