The article continues an exchange on the theme of religious philosophy, and more generally on the relation between philosophy and science. The author defends the view that philosophy cannot be identified with science. One reason for this is that the basis of each philosophical position is faith in certain evident realities which first of all constitute the specific philosophical position. The author backs up this view with the example of philosophical rationalism and, more specifically, with the example of transcendental phenomenology. The main aim of this polemical piece is an endeavour to gradually overcome philosophical dogmatism.
