János László has his 60'th anniversary this year. He is presently a scientific advisor at the Institute for Psychology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and also the director of the Psychology Institute of the University of Pécs, Hungary. He is the founder of the Hungarian narrative psychology school. The interview surveys his professional carrier on the occasion of his birthday.
