Celem artykułu jest pokazanie znaczenia instytucji wsparcia psychologicznego w życiu współczesnej rodziny. Rodzina, bądź poszczególni jej członkowie, uczęszczają na terapię nie tylko w celach leczniczych, ale także po to, by otrzymać wsparcie, gdy znajdują się w kryzysie. Coraz częściej chcą i potrzebują rozwijać się pod względem emocjonalnym. Instytucja wsparcia psychologicznego staje się potrzebą, a nie tylko koniecznością. Artykuł ma na celu pokazanie również potrzeby organizowania nieformalnych „szkół dla rodziców”, by mieć możliwość tworzyć, ulepszać i pogłębiać relacje wewnątrzrodzinne.

The aim of this article is to show how important institutions of psychological support are in the life of the modern family. The entire family or its particular members attend therapeutic sessions not only to recover but also to get support when they are in crisis. More and more often they need and want to develop emotionally. Psychological support is becoming a need, not just a necessity. The author of this article also points out that there exists the need to set up a kind of informal ‘school for parents’, where they could establish, improve and strengthen the relationships existing within the family.
