Deze tekst behandelt mogelijkheden om onderzoek te doen op het gebied van exploitatie van het potentieel van liedjes in het kader van het onderwijs Nederlands als vreemde taal (hierna NVT). Dit onderzoek is gebaseerd op een combinatie van literatuurstudie en voorbeelden van goede praktijk. Deze voorbeelden werden waargenomen bij een van de NVT-instituten die een universitaire studie Nederlands in Tsjechië aanbieden. De methodologische keuze voor het gebruik van het NVT-veld in de regio Midden-Europa als referentiepunt wordt in detail besproken. Hetzelfde geldt voor het minimaliseren van het aantal NVT-instituten waar dit onderzoek wordt uitgevoerd. Deze redenen hebben vooral te maken met de haalbaarheid van dit onderzoek en de toegenomen beschikbaarheid van IT-middelen in de afgelopen jaren. Er wordt verwacht dat deze instrumenten kunnen bijdragen aan verbetering en effectiever maken van het vreemde taalonderwijs. Bijzondere aandacht wordt gegeven aan het pilotonderzoek naar de wijze waarop bachelorstudenten Nederlands in het 1e en 2e jaar op deze specifieke universiteit systematisch liedjes voor taalonderwijsdoeleinden implementeren.

Artykuł opisuje możliwe sposoby prowadzenia badań w zakresie wykorzystania potencjału piosenek do nauczania języka niderlandzkiego jako obcego (w tekście zastosowano niderlandzki skrót NVT — „Nederlands als vreemde taal” [język niderlandzki jako język obcy]). Analizę oparto na kombinacji badań literatury z praktycznymi przykładami. Przykłady te zostały zaczerpnięte z obserwacji instytutów NVT na uniwersytecie w Czechach, który oferuje kierunek filologia niderlandzka. Dalej szczegółowo omówiony został metodologiczny wybór użycia NVT w regionie Europy Środkowej traktowany jako punkt odniesienia w badaniu. Podobnie potraktowana została kwestia zmniejszenia liczby instytutów NVT na obszarze, gdzie to badanie zostało przeprowadzone. Głównym powodem jest zwiększona dostępność technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych (ICT) w ostatnich latach. Przewiduje się, że technologie te przyczynią się do polepszenia nauczania języków obcych oraz uczynią je bardziej efektywnym. Specjalną uwagę poświęca się badaniu pilotażowemu, które dotyczy pytania, w jaki sposób studenci niderlandystyki pierwszego oraz drugiego roku studiów licencjackich na tej właśnie konkretnej uczelni (Uniwersytet Palackiego) postrzegają systematyczne wdrażanie piosenek do nauki języka obcego.

This writing deals with the opportunities for conducting research in the field of exploiting the potential of songs for the purposes of Teaching Dutch as a Foreign Language (to this area is in the text referred with the Dutch abbreviation NVT — “Nederlands als vreemde taal”). This research is based upon a combination of the literature study and examples of good practice. These examples were observed at one of the NVT-institutes offering university studies of Dutch in the Czech Republic. The methodological choice for using the NVT-field within the region of Central Europe as the point of reference is discussed in detail. The same applies to minimalizing the number of the NVT-institutes where this research is carried out. These reasons have primarily to do with the feasibility of this research and with the increased availability of the ICT-tools in the recent years. It is expected that these tools can contribute to improving foreign language teaching and make it more effective. Special attention is being paid to the pilot research concerning the ways how the bachelor students of Dutch in the 1st and the 2nd year at this particular university perceive systematic implementation of songs for the language teaching purposes.
