This study suggests a solution to the so-called Bolemila Donation. This is a gift of six villages which Countess Bolemila, husband of Bavor, gave the Knihgts Hospitaller againts the will of her own sons. The localisation of the villages allows us to estimate Bolemila´s origin and subsequently find out more about the roots of the not particularly wellknown Bavor secundogeniture family, which Jan Smil of Křemže (+ 1447) and others come from.
