EN

Artistic activity is one of the main forms of expression characteristic of children. Very young learners in particular treat it as a spontaneous personality display and a kind of “psychological therapy.” These and many more advantages of artistic creativity, have inspired the author of the paper to research the issue. The aim of the analysis is to explain the hypothesis which states that childhood is a period especially prone to artistic creativity development. The following paper presents theoretical assumptions, definitions of motivation, its types and determiners and other elements necessary to exploit young learners’ potential.
