Migracje oraz nieuregulowany status migrantów skłania do poszukiwania odpowiedzi na pytanie, w jaki sposób dorosłość jako faza życia jest kształtowana przez specyficzny kontekst, doświadczenie i wydarzenia związane z nieudokumentowanym pobytem. Artykuł stanowi propozycję zastosowania perspektywy cyklu życia w badaniach nad wchodzeniem w dorosłość migrantów o nieuregulowanym statusie ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem edukacji. Artykuł zawiera przegląd potencjalnych obszarów związanych z nieudokumentowanym dzieciństwem i dorosłością w kontekście edukacji jako ważnej płaszczyzny integracji i włączenia migrantów. Jednocześnie wskazuje na znaczenie zastosowania perspektywy cyklu życia dla polityk: imigracyjnej, integracyjnej i oświatowej oraz podkreśla korzyści wynikające ze spojrzenia na nieletnich migrantów z troską o jakość ich życia w dorosłości.
