Abstracts

The paper deals with the problem of interpretation of the so-called “passage of Aristocles”. This passage is one of the most contradictory sources of philosophy of the early Pyrrhonism. The particular subject of consideration is Pyrrhonist interpretation of “speaking” as one contrasted to “feelings” and “opinions”.
