The author considers the questions which remain within the scope of interest of dispositional pragmatics. Dispositional pragmatics is interested in the way the speech acts are conditioned by the context of the communication situation, including such parameters as: participants and their social ranks, kind of contact, scene of interaction, attributes etc. Special attention is devoted to gender in social communication, as well as to its consequences in the conversational styles of women and men. On the basis of the psycholinguistic research project, the author was searching the gender specificity in the German phraseology of the sexes, namely their semantic and connotation parameters. One of the research conclusions is the lack of relation between the gender connotation and the choice of idioms made by women or men.
