Celem niniejszego opracowania jest scharakteryzowanie przestępczości na szkodę małoletnich w Polsce. Przedstawiono w nim najważniejsze definicje związane z czynami na szkodę dzieci, a także statystyki skazań za ich popełnienie. W opracowaniu omówiono także zagadnienia związane z udziałem dziecka w postępowaniu karnym, zwłaszcza z jego przesłuchaniem oraz reprezentacją jego interesów.

The aim of this article is to characterize crimes against children committed in Poland. The most important definitions concerning offences against children as well as convictions statistics will be presented in the article. The text includes also issues connected with child participation in criminal proceeding, in particular child interview and child representation in this procedure.
