He was a beautiful person of the Catholic Church in Poland from the end o f XVII century and the beginning o f XVIII century, first the inspector o f Polish priests from the Congregation o f the Mission and the parish-priest o f the Saint Cross’s parish in Warszawa, then the bishop o f Poznań. He developed various activity as the inspector. He made the efforts connected with both external and internal development o f his congregation. Tarło was also appropriate builder of the monumental Saint Cross church in Warszawa. Tarło, as first inspector o f Polish missionaries can rightly be named the father o f Polish Province. He tried to lay the strong foundations to build the Congregation o f the Mission in Poland. He made his efforts with large fervor. He sermonized his speeches for the faithful during the missions and the retreats enthusiastically. He started to fulfill his Bishop office in very difficult times, when “except the great plagues” God punished the people “the plague of pestilence”. Then the great Bishop’s care for his people was appeared.
