Niniejszy artykuł porusza kwestię problemów społecznych zdegradowanego osiedla robotniczego w podwar-szawskim Konstancinie-Jeziornie w kontekście planów jego rewitalizacji. Autorka skupia się na złej wewnętrz-nej reputacji osiedla, na którą znaczący wpływ ma m.in. duża koncentracja lokali komunalnych i socjalnych. Postawa wycofania, braku zaangażowania w działania na rzecz dobra wspólnego, a także większy indyferentyzm terytorialny wśród osób wykluczonych społecznie pogłębia degradację moralną mieszkańców i stawia przed władzami miasta konieczność podjęcia działań naprawczych. Analiza elementów składających się na złą reputację wewnętrzną Mirkowa oraz stosunków społecznych tam panujących prowadzi do refleksji nad możliwymi strategiami przeciwdziałania negatywnym konsekwencjom degradacji osiedla.

This paper addresses the issue of social problems of Mirków – the degraded housing estate of Konstancin Jeziorna (the city localized in the suburban zone of Warsaw) in the context of plans for its revitalization. The author draws attention to the consequences of the bad inside reputation of the estate, which is highly influenced by a large concentration of social housing units. The attitude of withdrawal, lack of engagement in activities for the common good, as well as greater territorial indifference among people in any way socially excluded deepens moral degradation . At the end of the article a bad inside reputation of Mirków becomes a starting point for the discussion on possible strategies against its negative consequences.
