Celem opracowania było zidentyfikowanie czynników kształtujących przywiązanie afektywne w grupach pracowników zróżnicowanych pokoleniowo. Badania zostały przeprowadzone na grupie 501 losowo dobranych pracowników organizacji. Analiza regresji wielokrotnej umożliwiła wskazanie związków pomiędzy zmiennymi, ujawniając zróżnicowane zestawy czynników objaśniających przywiązanie afektywne dla grup pracowników niejednorodnych generacyjnie. Uzyskane wyniki sugerują, że przynależność pokoleniowa wpływa na poziom przywiązania afektywnego. Pracownicy pokolenia Baby Boomers wykazują najwyższy poziom przywiązania afektywnego, a pokolenia Y – najniższy.

The aim of the study was to identify factors shaping affective commitment in diverse groups of employees on the grounds of their generational affiliation. The study was conducted on a group of 501 randomly selected employees of the organization. Multiple regression analyses identified relationships between variables, demonstrating different sets of explanatory factors behind affective commitment for groups of employees representing different generations. Results obtained show that generational affiliation influences the level of affective commitment. Employees of the Baby Boomer Generation show the highest level of affective commitment, while the Y Generation demonstrates the lowest.
