Political transformation in Poland made it possible for municipal government to be reactivated. As a result, the character of the administrative bodies of government, was changed; new levels of municipal government were brought into effect. Also a new law about Police was passed, which along with the new normative acts, contributed to the improvement in the organization of state, as well as collaboration between those institutions. The collaboration consists in two components: subjective and objective. The first one is formed by virtue of rules and mode of appointment and dismissal of management in individual police units. While the other one pertains to the issue of submitting by police reports on activities and information about the status of public order and safety, to the municipal government units.
