Celem artykułu jest wskazanie, czy pandemia taka jak wywołana przez wirus SARS-CoV-2, która ma istotny wpływ na życie gospodarcze oraz wymiar sprawiedliwości i skutkowała wieloma szczególnymi regulacjami prawnymi i ogłoszeniem stanu epidemii, powoduje zawieszenie biegu terminów przedawnienia roszczeń jako siła wyższa w rozumieniu art. 121 pkt 4 k.c. Artykuł skierowany jest do praktyków prawa i stanowi głos w aktualnej dyskusji.

The aim of the article is to examine whether a pandemic, such as the one caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which exerts a significant impact on the economic life and the administration of justice, and which has already resulted in many specific legal regulations and the declaration of the state of epidemic, may lead to the suspension of the limitation periods as force majeure under Article 121 point 4 of the Polish Civil Code. The article is directed to practitioners and contributes to an ongoing discussion.
