The article contains a description of the case study of an eleven-year-old boy with the central auditory processing disorders. The case study method is analytical. In the etiology of central auditory processing disorders, the most frequently spoken of auditory perception disorders include impairments of the receptive (hearing) function and disorders of sound discrimination. As therapeutic observations confirm, it is therefore interesting to examine auditory attention (selection and intensification of sound stimuli proccesing) and assessment of the ability to discriminate acoustic speech sound.
