The author carries out a critical analysis of an edition of correspondence attributed to Adolf Januszkiewicz. She questions not only the material basis of the publication but also, and above all, its authenticity (authorship). To substantiate her position, she refers to formal arguments, like characteristic features of the letters or their contents, as well as episodes from A. Januszkiewicz’s biography.
