Przedstawiony w niniejszym tekście model opisu emocji obejmuje następujące elementy: partnerzy komunikacji – eksperiencer (osoba doświadczająca) i stimulus (bodziec wywołujący dany stan) – forma komunikacji (list), profil uczucia (reprezentacja semantyczno-konceptualna uczucia), reguły ujawniania danej emocji, przestrzeń działania, nastawienie emocjonalne i formy wyrazu. W centrum naukowego zainteresowania znalazło się znaczenie emocjonalne, które można opisać dzięki parametrom takim jak ‘wartościowość’ (walencja), ‘natężenie’, ‘relewancja’, ‘ocena kognitywna’, ‘czas trwania’, ‘stopień aktywności’ i ‘rodzaj oczekiwania

Emotions or feelings are the most crucial aspects of human existence, they are anthropological universals and socio-cultural phenomena at the same time. The article is an attempt to characterize emotions as socio-cultural units that have the status of signs – symbols and/or symptoms – and emphasise, in particular, their realization in written forms (the love correspondence between I. Bachmann and P. Celan). It is important to make a distinction between intraindividual, invisible and inaccessible FEELINGS and interindividual EMOTIONS – as medially differentiated realisations of feelings. The present model of the description of emotions includes the following elements: communication partners – experiencer (the experiencing person) and stimulus (the factor causing a certain state), communication form (letter), the profile of feeling (semantic-conceptual representation of the feeling), the rules of exhibiting the emotion, activity space, emotional attitude and forms of expression. The focus of scientific interest is the emotional meaning, which may be described with parameters such as ‘valence’, ‘intensity’, ‘relevance’, ‘cognitive appraisal’, ‘duration’, ‘activity degree’ and ‘kind of expectation’.
