This paper is an analysis of the migration strategies of Polish women and the types of professions they practice in the Netherlands. In recent years, especially after the Polish accession to the European Union in 2004, many Poles (according to estimates approximately 200 000 people, half of them women) have emigrated to the Netherlands. Statistically, the most commonly performed professions of Polish migrant women are described and interpreted in the framework of migration studies, which take into account the gender perspective and the essential distinctiveness of male and female migration experiences.
