Personal brending is a set of activities undertaken by the entity to create and promote its own brand. Activities in social media constitute a specific channel to develop the entity's own brand. Information to be included in the network by the Internet users are used both by researchers of consumer behavior and by HR staff. This paper presents the results of the research done by the students of the final year in economics. The aim of this study was to assess respondents' level of awareness on possibilities and risks of building their own image as a potential employee using social media technologies.
