The book written by dr hab. Mariusz Krzyszto ński is a multi-dimensional depiction of the life and activity of the Metropolitan of Przemyśl archbishop Ignacy Tokarczuk. In contrast to other publications concerning the archbishop, this one is an album based on rich sources. Photographs are divided into chapters, which cover the most important stages of the hierarch’s life. An in- dubitable advantage of the album is the fact that the archbishop is presented not only as a center of events, but is also presented among people and against the background of the events of the epoch. The publication is characterized by great editorial precision.
