This article provides a general account of the history and the current status of Jordanian Christians. It also discusses the main problems which Christian minority faces in Jordan including the sense of marginality and the lack of understanding among non -Christian and above all fundamentalist groups. The author identifies in this context a number of crucial issues for Jordanian society such as national identity, toleration and religious education as well as some other concerns such as cooperation between Muslims and Christians in Jordan.
