Łuszczyca jest jedną z najczęstszych dermatoz skóry. Wyniki leczenia są wciąż mało satysfakcjonujące. Poziom przestrzegana zaleceń lekarskich oraz wiedza pacjenta o chorobie łuszczycowej są wciąż na niskim poziomie. Ważne jest, aby na wczesnym etapie diagnozy edukować chorego. Pacjenci z umiarkowaną lub ciężką postacią łuszczycy są predysponowani do rozwoju chorób sercowo-naczyniowych, otyłości, cukrzycy, stanów lękowych. Choroba ta wymaga leczenia na wielu płaszczyznach. Dlatego tak ważne jest leczenie kompleksowe. W przedstawionych badaniach przyczyn niskiego przestrzegania zaleceń lekarskich oraz braku satysfakcjonujących efektów leczenia należy szukać w czynnikach socjodemograficznych, czynnikach dotyczących pacjenta i jego podejścia do zaleceń lekarskich, jak i kosztach terapii.

Psoriasis is one of the most common skin dermatoses. The results of treatment are still not satisfactory. Compliance with medical advice and patient knowledge of psoriasis is still low. It is important to educate the patient at an early stage of diagnosis. Patients with moderate or severe psoriasis are predisposed to developing cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, anxiety. This disease requires treatment on many levels, therefore comprehensive treatment is so important. In the presented studies, the reasons for low compliance and lack of satisfactory treatment results should be looked at in sociodemographic factors, patient factors and its approach to medical recommendations and treatment costs.
