The author of the article is interested in the translating talent of Boleslaw Taborski. is matter has been constituted by exceptionally high level of historical and literary knowledge, literary criticism, theatrical expertise, awareness of poetics of the texts under translation and also great sensitivity for words corresponding with philological professionalism. The article depicts instances and brief presentations of plays by Karol Wojtyła, intellectually and artistically extraordinary texts by Jan Kott, Jerzy Grotowski, Stanisława Przybyszewska and Harold Pinter. Bolesław Taborski used to live in both cultures: that one where his roots and love were; and this one which had been shaping his heart and mind since his early years, which had become closer and closer by getting to know and experiencing it, and whose ropes he unveiled thanks to his great mastery of word.
