Creative destruction is one of the most popular concepts created by the Austrian economist (Joseph A. Schumpeter) that determines permanent economic changes (in all countries) which are influenced by various factors, among other things, the development of technology. Even though creative destruction destroys old economic structures and changes methods of production, it leads to economic development and growth. J.A. Schumpeter gives special importance to innovation and divides it into five categories: product, method of production, market, supply sources and industrial organization.
