Morysin is an architectonic park-complex situated opposite the royal palace, on the other side of the so-called Wilanów Pond. Founded in the first half of the nineteenth century, it flourished during the second half of that century; at present, this area is devastated and neglected. The article recalls the history of the complex, and discusses current problems of the premise, placing emphasis on the need for a rapid salvaging of this picturesque site.
