Social deixis in communication between parents and teachers on the example of schools in Perm.

The article presents a description and analysis of some aspects of communication between parents and teachers in Russian schools in Perm (Western Ural). Special attention was paid to social deixis, which constitutes an element of pragmalinguistics. In the analysis, the author referred to Erving Goffman's theory of social roles. Chosen theories were applied to discuss the role of social deixis in the process of pedagogical development of both parents and teachers.
